6 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh;
4 patients cured and discharged
Leh, Aug 16: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, six new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday and all the cases were reported in Leh. While a total of 1222 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 647 and Kargil: 575 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged four patients yesterday, two each from Leh and Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 82; 64 in Leh and 18 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 2230 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 128 and 275 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
