Swachhata Hi Seva Pakhwada held at Panchayat Halqa Samrah, Shakar Chiktan
Kargil, Sep 25, 2023: Panchayat Halqa Samrah, Block Shakar Chiktan today conducted Swachhata Hi Seva Pakhwada or cleanliness drive.
The campaign was conducted as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva Pakhwada initiative and was led by the Sarpanch of Panchayat Halqa Samrah.
The event comprised various activities such as cleanliness and sanitation awareness waste collection and disposal and beautification of public spaces.
During the drive, volunteers assembled to take part in an informative session on the significance of cleanliness and its impact on overall well-being and it was followed by a collective effort to clean and sanitize various premises of Gram Panchayat by all the participants.
The campaign was conducted with the objective of maintaining the essence of Swachhata Hi Seva Pakhwada by organizing regular cleanliness drives and inspiring others to adopt a cleanliness-oriented lifestyle.
The participants pledged to maintain the cleanliness of their surroundings and spreading awareness about hygienic practices. The participants collected polythene bags, plastic, junk food wrappers etc. and proper disposal and dispose it off.
