JKDFC holds interactive session with entrepreneurs in Leh
LEH,NOVEMBER 04 : J&K Development Finance Corporation Ltd (JKDFC), a government of India enterprise, conducted an interactive session with existing and budding entrepreneurs in Leh Ladakh.
The session was held under the leadership of Managing Director of the Corporation Dr. Jivisha Joshi (Dy Secretary DPIIT, GOI) along with expert team comprising of Mudasir Ahmad, Manmohan Singh & Gulzar Hussain.
The session focused on various financing schemes of JKDFC and the newly launched home-stay scheme of JKDFC, and various incentive of the Government of India.
The session was attended by a large number of entrepreneurs from various sectors, including tourism, hospitality, and Industry. The participants were informed about the various financial assistance programs offered by JKDFC, including term loans, working capital loans, transport loan. They were also briefed on the eligibility criteria for each scheme and the application process.
The session was an opportunity for entrepreneurs to learn about JKDFC’s various financial assistance programs and how they can benefit their businesses. The session also provided a platform for entrepreneurs to network with each other and with government officials. Entrepreneurs also had the opportunity to ask questions and get their doubts clarified from JKDFC officials.
In particular, the participants were given detailed information about the newly launched home-stay scheme of JKDFC. This scheme aims to promote home stays as a viable alternative to hotels and other traditional forms of accommodation in Ladakh. Under the scheme, JKDFC provides financial assistance to entrepreneurs for the construction and renovation of home stays.
JKDFC is committed to supporting the growth of entrepreneurship in Ladakh. The corporation will continue to conduct such interactive sessions in the future to reach out to a wider audience of entrepreneurs of Ladakh.
