LSWSA Hosts Heartfelt Farewell Party for Graduating Students at AMU, Aligarh
Aligarh, 27th April 2025 —
The Ladakh Students Welfare Association (LSWSA), Aligarh, organized a heartfelt and memorable farewell party on 27th April 2025 at the N.R.S.C. Club, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), to honor its graduating students. The event, supported in part by Tharoorian Classes, served as a touching tribute to the outgoing batch, celebrating their academic journey and personal growth at AMU.
The program commenced with a warm welcome address, setting a reflective tone for the evening. This was followed by a soulful parting ghazal performed by General Secretary Mustafa Hakim, which beautifully captured the emotions of farewell. Graduating students took the stage to share their heartfelt stories, reminiscing about their early days in Aligarh and the experiences that shaped them.
In a special moment of appreciation, mementos were presented to the outgoing students, symbolizing gratitude for their contributions to the university community. Senior advisory body member Ka Irfan delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging the graduates to carry forward the spirit of unity and resilience.
Light-hearted games and informal interactions kept the atmosphere lively, culminating in a final, motivating address by LSWSA President Ali Asgar. He urged the students to remain connected, uphold the association’s spirit, and continue supporting LSWSA’s future endeavors. He expressed confidence that the union would always be a pillar of strength for its members and emphasized the collective responsibility to help the association reach greater heights.
The event concluded with a group photo session, capturing memories of camaraderie and shared aspirations, followed by a communal lunch where attendees reflected on the bonds formed during their time at AMU.
Looking ahead, LSWSA is excited to host its annual alumni meet and plans to launch a commemorative magazine, celebrating the enduring unity and achievements of Ladakhi students at AMU.
