Ladakh continued to face severe winter conditions on Thursday, with temperatures dropping to around –14°C in the early hours of the day. According to the latest forecast, the region will remain clear to partly cloudy, offering good visibility despite freezing conditions.

During the night and early morning, temperatures dipped further to –16°C, before gradually rising through the day. By noon, the mercury is expected to reach –8°C, with intervals of sunshine and light cloud cover.
Officials have advised residents and travelers to take necessary precautions against the harsh cold, especially during morning and late-evening hours. No snowfall or precipitation has been predicted for the day.
