By Defence Secretary, India chaired a virtual meet with all the stakeholders to discuss issues raised by CEC Leh/Kargil to @DefenceMinIndia concerning border area & human resources development in Ladakh.
Age relaxation & special drives for Army recruitment, local labour engagement in BRO, promoting border tourism, expediting work on strategic roads, Grid connection to Changthang, Preferential treatment to local CMS, were the major issues discussed during the meeting.
