Dy Chairman visits Tashi Thogsmonling Choglamsar FCS&CA Department conducts awareness programme on PMGKAY scheme

Leh, April 15: Deputy Chairman, LAHDC Leh, Tsering Angchuk visited Sale Centre, School, ICDS of Tashi Thongsmonling Choglamsar village today.

Assistant Director, FCS&CA, Leh, Ruth Mary; Chief-Inspector, Inspector, Storekeeper, Goba and villagers of Tashi Thogsmonling Village, Choglamsar accorded a warm welcome to the Deputy Chairman.

Deputy Chairman, Tsering Angchuk briefed the villagers about Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana (PMGKY). He said under this scheme, free ration of 05 Kg food grains/person/month comprising 3.5 kg of rice and 1.5 kg of atta is being provided to the members of the Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) and Priority Households (PHH) beneficiaries.

The Assistant Director, Department of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), Ruth Mary gave a brief introduction about the various ongoing schemes of the department and shared the benefits of PMGKY.
