Procession of 9th Muharram concludes with religious fervour in Kargil

The mourning procession of 9th Moharram took place at Kargil where people from adjoining villages of Kargil reached Kargil town under the banner of Anjuman Jamiyat Ullama Isna Ashriya Kargil (AJUIAK) Ladakh and Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust Kargil.

The Procession with Alams and cladded in Black Cloths reciting Lamentations on Shodae Karbala passing through Fatima Chowk, Isna Ashriya Chowk, Khomeni Chowk, Lal Chowk culminated at Hussaini Park and Isna Ashriya Complex.

Islamic scholars threw light on the contribution of Hazrat Abul Fazl Abass (a.s) in the history of Karbala.

Meanwhile ,various stalls (Sabeels) where free Water and Juice and other eatables were distributed to the Mourners.

Health Department Kargil has installed camps at various locations to provide immediate medical Aids if needed.

Administration has made adequate arrangements for smooth conclusion of the Processions meanwhile adequate security arrangements were also made during the occasion .
