AKSAD called upon the Member of Parliament & CEC LAHDC, Kargil, Ladakh
KARGIL,JUNE 12 : All Kargil (Ladakh) Students’ Association Delhi today called upon the Member of Parliament Mohmad Haneefa & Chairman/ CEC, LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon at Ladakh Bhawan, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.

The delegation representing the collective voice of students extended scongratulations to Mohmad Haneefa for winning the Ladakh Parliamentary Constituency seat.  

The delegation apprised range of student-related issues, with the newly elected MP , Ladakh & CEC Kargil across multiple dimensions.
Range of discussion was held such as allocation of separate seats for ST students at Jamia Millia Islamia Delhi which was undermined when university authorities amalgamated STs with OBCs, resulting in a diminished representation of ST students in the university at large.
Separate boys and girls hostel for students of Kargil, Introduction of Fine Arts, Commerce at Higher Secondary Schools, Introduction of Law & Management department at University of Ladakh & affiliated colleges, Stop Outsourcing and early recruitment of Jobs, Public Service Commission for Ladakh, Issues facing by the students in various Scholarship Schemes like, PM-USPY (formerly PMSSS) and NSP scholarship and the declaration of the reservation list result of SSC jobs as early as possible.  

After a patient hearing, MP, Ladakh and CEC, assured to the executive members to resolve these issues at the earliest opportunity.
