In a proud moment for Ladakh, Ali Asgar Balti, a young writer hailing from Drass, has released his debut autobiographical memoir titled *Lost and Found in Aligarh*. The book captures Ali’s deeply personal journey of self-discovery and transformation during his time at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).

A current student of biochemistry and President of the Ladakh Students’ Welfare Society Aligarh, Ali has been an active voice for Ladakhi youth, previously contributing articles to local publications such as *Voice of Ladakh* and *Stawa*. Now, with his first book, he offers readers a glimpse into the emotional and intellectual struggles faced by a student navigating life far from home.
