CEC Kargil Dr Jaffer visits landslide-affected areas of Sarchey
Kargil, August 04, 2024: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon along with Executive Councilor (Social Welfare/Agriculture/Animal and Sheep Husbandry/ICDS) LAHDC, Kargil, Aga Syeed Mujtaba Mussavi today visited the landslide-affected areas of Sarchey (TSG).
The visit was aimed to assess the extent of damage, evaluate the immediate needs of affected communities, and coordinate response efforts.
Chairman/CEC directed PHE officials to restore the drinking water pipes. He also directed the Irrigation Department to restore the irrigation canal at the earliest.
The CEC assured the villagers that all the possible efforts will be made to help the affected people.
