Councillor of Chuliskambu Constituency, Altaf Hussain, today handed over four heating AC refrigerators to Government High School Hardass of school staff, villagers, and local representatives from Councillor Constituency Development Allowance (CCDA) Scheme.
Headmaster Avtar Singh extended heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the school, particularly for the project of 1.28 crore under the Langusing Scheme for the construction of the school building, and 52 lakh under CCDA and Capex for renovation and finishing of classrooms. They also highlighted the ongoing construction of a new school building worth 5 crore, as per the standard of CBSE, noting that the first storey has already been completed while the remaining work is progressing steadily.
Additionally, the school community thanked the Councillor for providing iron fencing for the school boundary, which has greatly enhanced the safety and overall structure of the institution.
Addressing the gathering, Councillor Altaf Hussain acknowledged his dedication to strengthening the educational sector in the Chuliskambu region. He said that improving school infrastructure is a cornerstone of ensuring quality education for children.
He assured that all ongoing construction and renovation works would be completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
The villagers and the school staff wholeheartedly appreciated the Councillor’s efforts and acknowledged that these interventions have transformed the learning environment. They expressed confidence that the continued support and ongoing projects will greatly benefit the students and contribute to the long-term educational development of Hardass.
