DC Kargil Flags Off Artisans and Entrepreneurs to participate in Enchanting Ladakh at Dilli Haat

Kargil, January 31, 2026: Deputy Commissioner, Kargil, Rakesh Kumar today flagged off artisans of the Handloom & Handicrafts sector and entrepreneurs associated with the District Industries Centre (DIC), Kargil to participate in the 7th edition of Enchanting Ladakh at Dilli Haat, INA, New Delhi.

On the occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kargil, Imteeaz Kacho, General Manager, DIC Kargil, Shafiq Ahmad, Tehsildar Kargil, Ayaz Ahmad Bhat, besides other officials from various departments were present.

Addressing the participants, DC Kargil emphasized that the feedback and response received from customers at Dilli Haat would be highly valuable for promoting local products on online marketing platforms. He said that such direct market reviews are often more effective.

Meanwhile, the artisans and entrepreneurs urged that future participation at Dilli Haat be scheduled from end December or the first week of January to maximise sales opportunities. 

Responding to the request, the Deputy Commissioner assured that the matter would be taken up with the higher authorities for consideration.
