Leh, April 10, 2026: The Department of Social Work proudly announces the remarkable achievement of its students, Sonam Yangdol and Stanzin Youtso from the 2021–2024 batch.
As part of the prescribed curriculum, students are required to undergo block placement in reputed organizations. In this regard, both students successfully completed their placement at Ladakh Ecological Development Group (LEDeG), Leh, where they gained extensive field-based experience in sustainable development and community practice.
In recognition of their dedication and outstanding performance, both students have been selected for a fully funded one-year extended international internship in Germany, marking a significant academic and professional milestone.
The students also visited the Department to express their sincere gratitude to the faculty members and the college administration for their continuous guidance and support throughout their academic journey.
The Department of Social Work congratulates them on this commendable achievement and extends its best wishes for their continued success in future endeavors.
