By District Legal Services Authority Kargil organizes 4th National Lok Adalat
Kargil, Dec 09: As per the direction of Ladakh Legal Services Authority, the District Legal Services Authority Kargil today organized the 4th National Lok Adalat.
In the Lok Adalat, five benches were constituted under the abled guidance of Chairman District Legal Services Authority Kargil, Iqbal Ahmad Masudi for different kinds of cases which included pending in the Courts like criminal Compoundable matters, cases u/s 138 NI Act. MACT cases, Bank recovery cases, Matrimonial disputes and other civil cases etc.
The first bench was presided over by Iqbal Ahmad Masudi Ld. Charmin DLSA/PDSJ Kargil, the second bench was presided over by Fariqa Nazir Ld. Chief Judicial Magistrate/Secretary DLSA Kargil, the third bench was presided over by Ld. Munsiff/JMIC Sankoo Shafiq Ahmad Lone, the fourth bench was presided over Ld. Munsif/JMIC Drass Imran Hanif Khan, fifth bench was presided over by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kargil and sixth bench was presided over by SDM Zanskar.
A total number of 234 cases were referred to the National Lok Ad out of the same total number of 182 cases were disposed off and out of same an amount of Rs 3100000 and fine of Rs 51550 was imposed.
