In a landmark achievement, Dr Sajjad Hussain, Consultant Surgeon from Ladakh, received the prestigious Fellowship award ββ FAISββ of the Association of the Surgeons of India on the 85th convocation of ASI – ASICON 2025, held at Biswa Bangla Convention Centre, in the beautiful City of Kolkata, West Bengal.
ASICON is the largest medical event in India. Leading Surgeons of the Country and abroad participated in the most prestigious and Glorious Conference of the Surgeons.
The Prestigious Fellowship award was conferred to him by President of the Association of Surgeons of India – Professor Dr Pravin R. Suryawanshi, in presence of galaxies of Eminent and Stalwarts of Surgery from India and abroad. The Fellowship award was conferred to him for acquiring Distinction as a Surgeon and for his outstanding achievements and tremendous work in the field of Surgery.
The Annual Conference of the Association of Surgeons of India is the live wire of the surgeons across the sub-continent for more than eight decades. The 4 day Surgical Conference is being held in the city of Kolkata which has contributed six novel laureates to this country including the indominable spirits of Rabindra Nath Tagore, Swami Vivekananda and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
