EC Kacho Mohd Feroz Reviews Progress of Tourism Projects Under KDA Kargil

Kargil, December 3, 2025:

Hon’ble Executive Councillor for KDA and Tourism Development Authority, Kacho Mohd Feroz, chaired a review meeting today to evaluate the status of ongoing tourism development projects under the Kargil Development Authority (KDA).

The meeting was attended by EC RDD & ZDA Er. Punchok Tashi, EC Sheep & Animal Husbandry Aga Syed Mujtaba, several Hon’ble Councillors of LAHDC Kargil, the Executive Engineer KDA, and senior departmental officials.

During the session, EC Feroz conducted an extensive review of ongoing as well as pending tourism works. He instructed the Executive Engineer to expedite execution of all incomplete and yet-to-be-initiated projects, emphasising that timely completion is essential for strengthening Kargil’s tourism infrastructure and supporting the region’s long-term growth.

He also directed officials to promptly prepare and finalise estimates for pending projects, so they can be submitted to higher authorities without delay for necessary approvals and funding.

EC Feroz reiterated that the administration is committed to enhancing tourism facilities across Kargil and ensuring swift implementation of development initiatives.
