EC Tashi congratulates Stanzin Deachen for making it to Asian Judo Championship 2024
Kargil, July 24, 2024: Executive Councilor, RDD/PR, Cooperative, Forest, Wildlife, FCS&CA and Zanskar Development Authority, Er Phunchok Tashi today congratulated Stanzin Deachen, daughter of Stanzin Sonam from village Pibiting Zanskar Kargil on her remarkable achievement of being selected for Asian Judo Championship 2024 in 57 kg category, set to take place next month in South Korea.
He said her success in the national trials, which has earned her a place in this prestigious international event, is a source of immense pride for all of us.
“It is noteworthy for our community in Zanskar and the entire Ladakh region. Her achievement is not just a personal triumph but a moment of great honor for our homeland,” the EC said.
EC Tashi extended congratulations to her family for their support and encouragement, which have undoubtedly played a significant role in her journey. Stanzin Deachen’s dedication to sport and representation of India on such a grand stage is truly inspiring.
