Felicitation Ceremony for CBSE Class 10th Toppers Held at CEO Office Kargil

Kargil, April 20, 2026: As per the directions of the Administrative Secretary, Ms. Bhanu Prabha, ( IAS) the School Education Department Kargil Ladakh organized a felicitation ceremony to honour the CBSE Class 10th toppers of Kargil District at the Chief Education Office, Kargil.

On behalf of the School Education Department, Chief Education Officer Kargil, Shri Sonam Wangchuk, felicitated the meritorious students in the presence of Hon’ble Councillor Taisuru, Shri Abdul Hadi.

The toppers honoured during the ceremony include: 1st Position: Aquba Rabiya (GHS Panikhar) 458/500 (91.6%), 1st Position: Nargis Banoo (PM SHRI HS Lankoor) 458/500 (91.6%), 2nd Position: Mohmad Sakib (HSS Panikhar) 440/500 (88%), 3rd Position: Bintul Huda (HSS Drass) 438/500 (87.6%) and 3rd Position: Sakina Banoo (HS Tambis) 438/500 (87.6%).

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Education Officer congratulated the students for their remarkable achievement and encouraged them to continue working hard in their future academic pursuits. He advised them to strive towards becoming responsible and exemplary citizens of the nation.

Hon’ble Councillor Shri Abdul Hadi also congratulated the toppers and motivated them to perform even better in the future. As a token of appreciation, he awarded the students with cash rewards.

The students expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the School Education Department Ladakh, especially the Administrative Secretary, Director Education, Chief Education Officer, and their teachers for their unwavering support and guidance.

The event concluded on a positive note, celebrating academic excellence and inspiring students across the district to aim higher.
