Foundation Stone Laid for Ven. Lama Lobzang Memorial Park

The ceremonial foundation stone for the Ven. Lama Lobzang Memorial Park was laid today by Hon’ble Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Adv. Tashi Gyalson, along with Hon’ble Executive Councillor Tashi Namgyal Yakzee; DC/CEO, LAHDC Santosh Sukhadeve; Hon’ble Councillor Phunchok Stanzin Tsepag; Former MP Thupstan Chhewang, President of Ashoka Mission; President of Ladakh Buddhist Association (LBA),Chering Dorjey Lakrook ;SE PWD Dorjey Gyatso; Xen R&B; AIMS doctors who came for the camp; Tashi Motup and family (Kawoo);

The ceremony commenced with a solemn prayer led by Ven. monks, setting a reverent tone for the occasion. The Ven. Lama Lobzang Memorial Park aims to honor the legacy of Ven. Lama Lobzang and will serve as a place of reflection and community gathering.

The event highlights the collaborative efforts of local leaders and community members in preserving and celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the region. The park’s development is anticipated to contribute significantly to the cultural and social fabric of Leh.
