H’CEC Held Mediation Conference Discussion

The Hon’ble Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson called upon a delegation of Principal District and Sessions Judge, Mr. Manoj Parihar, along with Member Secretary of the Ladakh Legal Services Authority, Spalzes Angmo; Under Secretary, LLSA, Stanzin Dachom and Mobile Magistrate, Chemit Yurgyal, to discuss an upcoming mediation conference aimed at enhancing legal awareness in the region.

During the meeting, Judge Parihar emphasized the importance of the mediation conference, particularly for elected representatives, including councillors, Sarpanches, and BDC members. The conference aims to promote mass awareness about mediation as an effective alternative to lengthy legal disputes, showcasing its numerous advantages in resolving conflicts amicably.

The Chairman congratulated the newly appointed District and Sessions Judge on joining the Leh district and welcomed the collaborative efforts to advance legal education and mediation awareness in the community.

The LAHDC Leh encourages all stakeholders to participate in this crucial event to foster a culture of dialogue and dispute resolution through mediation.
