Higher Secondary School Pashkum Initiates Industrial Hands-On Training Program for Students in Kargil.

Kargil, August 20, 2024 – Higher Secondary School Pashkum has successfully kicked off an Geographical tour – an innovative Industrial Hands-On Training Program aimed at equipping its students with practical skills and real-world experience. This initiative, a first of its kind in the region, is designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry demands by providing students with the opportunity to work closely with various industries across Kargil;

The students were accompanied by teacher incharge Lect. Geography Khadim Hussain , Mrs. Zahra batool and Mohd ali as supporting staff.

During the training, students were exposed to various aspects of industrial operations, including manufacturing processes, quality control, supply chain management, and safety protocols. The industries participating in this program span diverse sectors, including construction, textiles, food processing, and renewable energy.

The principal of Higher Secondary School Pashkum, Mr. Ishey Namgial expressed his enthusiasm for the program, stating, “We are committed to providing our students with the best possible education, and this includes hands-on experience in the industry. This program will not only enhance their technical skills but also provide them with invaluable insights into the working world, making them better prepared for future challenges.”

Students participating in the program have also expressed their excitement and gratitude for this opportunity. This training has given them a real sense of what to expect after school. It’s a great way to apply what we’ve learned in the classroom to real-life situations.”

The school administration plans to expand this program in the coming years by including more industries and potentially offering specialized training sessions in fields such as digital technology and entrepreneurship. This initiative marks a significant step forward in the school’s mission to create well-rounded an industry-ready graduates.
