Industries & Commerce -SPMU PMFME Team, Ladakh organizes awareness camp at Sankoo
Kargil, June 24, 2023: The Department of Industries and Commerce-SPMU PMFME Team, UT Ladakh today organized a successful awareness camp under PMFME scheme in Sankoo Block, Kargil.
SPMU-PMFME team informed the participants about various benefits the scheme offers to SHGs, including 35 percent credit-linked capital subsidy, seed capital up to Rs 40,000 per SHG member, skill development training, access to common processing facilities and assistance in product branding and marketing.
Availing benefits of the scheme will not only strengthen the financial stability of SHGs but also enable them to expand their operations, generate income and create employment opportunities.
It was an engaging session where all the SHG members actively voiced their concerns and shared the challenges faced by them on ground level and how PMFME scheme can help resolve those issues.
