ISA conducts awareness program at GMDC Zanskar
Kargil, June 20, 2023:
The Implementation Support Agency (ISA) under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) today conducted an awareness program at Government Model Degree College, Zanskar.
The program started with a welcome speech by Assistant Professor, Geology, Hassanain. Team leader of the ISA, gave a brief introduction about the JJM and its objectives.
Speaking on the occasion, Stanzin Eedtok gave a detailed presentation on water and its importance. Adid Bano gave on spot demonstration to test the quality of water in the college campus.
An interactive program was also organized for students where they participated in painting, essay and quiz competitions. Further, winners from all three categories of competition were felicitated with certificates and prizes. The program concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Dr Jamphel Sheyan.
