Kargil Police arrested Drug Peddler at Drass with Contraband like Substance
Acting sternly against the drugs menace, Kargil Police headed by Inspector Fazil Abbas SHO Police Station Drass today arrested a drug peddler at Main Market Drass namely Chanchal Kumar Das S/O Swapan Das R/o Jharkhand, age 27 years and recovered Cannabis drug like Substance (Charas) from his possession. During patrolling duty at Main Bazar Drass, Police intercepted a person in suspicious condition who tried to flee from the spot but was apprehended tactfully.
Upon his Checking Cannabis like Substance was recovered from his possession. In this regard FIR No. 31/2022 U/s 8/20 NDPS Act is registered at Police Station Drass and investigation has been taken up for further proceedings.
Kargil Police appeals to General Public to inform Police regarding illegal activities and assures to take every possible measure against those involved in illegal activities.
