LAHDC-KSSRB conducts OMR-Based Examinations for Matric Level Posts
Kargil, November 10, 2024: LAHDC-Kargil Subordinate Service Recruitment Board today conducted the OMR-based Matric Level examinations for various District Cadre Posts in two shifts at twenty six (26) Examination Centres set up at Kargil Headquarter and Zanskar.
Chairman Board/Deputy Commissioner, Kargil Shrikant Suse inspected different Examination Centres at Kargil and took stock of the arrangements there.
Examination Observers, Ghulam Mohiuddin (ADC, Kargil), Maqbool Hussain (SE, PHE/I&FC Department Kargil), Abdul Hadi (CPO/JDP, Kargil ) and Romil Singh Donk (SDM Zanskar), Controller of Examination, Iftikhar Hussain (DTO, Kargil) and Member, LAHDC-KSSRB, Dr. Gulzar Hussain (CAO, Kargil) also visited the exam centres to oversee and monitor the examination process.
The LAHDC-KSSRB and District Administration of Kargil had made all the required arrangements for smooth conduct of the examination and prescribed standard procedures were followed. Duty Magistrates and requisite staff were deployed at all Centres. Besides, adequate security personnel were deployed in and around the venues for smooth conduct of the written examination. To ensure fairness of the process, the Question Booklets were provided in four sets with different sequence of questions and Carbon Copy of the marked OMR was made available to the candidates for self evaluation. The overall written examination and its associated procedures were conducted under CCTV Surveillance.
Deputy Director, Employment/Secretary, LAHDC-KSSRB, Dr. Khanzada Mohd. Usman informed that 11204 candidates out of 14030 appeared for the Matric Level Examinations at their allotted centres.
The candidates expressed satisfaction over the arrangements and transparency measures that were put in place and appreciated the sincere efforts of the authorities.
Meanwhile, the authorities have informed that the answer keys of the Graduate/10+2 and Matric Level Examinations conducted on 20th of October, 2024 and 10th of November, 2024 respectively will be available on the official website of the LAHDC-KSSRB viz www.dssrbkargil.in in due course of time.
