Leh, A series of intensive awareness programmes were held across several villages and schools in Leh district as part of the ongoing Tobacco Free Youth Campaign (TFYC) 3.0. The activities were jointly organised by AAM staff in close coordination with school authorities and local village representatives.
The outreach initiative focused on educating students, parents, and community members about the harmful effects of tobacco use and the importance of adopting a healthy, smoke-free lifestyle. These sessions featured interactive discussions, demonstrations, pledge ceremonies, and community-level engagement to spread the message effectively.

Informative IEC materials were distributed to students, teachers, and villagers to reinforce learning and encourage long-term behavioural change. According to officials, the enthusiastic participation from all centres underscored the strong community support towards building a Tobacco-Free Generation in the region.
The campaign has significantly strengthened collective responsibility and heightened public awareness, marking another step forward in creating healthier, safer, and tobacco-free public spaces across Leh district.
