Secretariat Ladakh bids farewell to Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Jigmet Takpa (IFS)

 

Leh, July 31: Civil Secretariat, UT Ladakh organized a farewell to the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Jigmet Takpa (IFS) at Video Conference Hall, Civil Secretariat, Leh.

 

Speaking on the occasion, the advisor to Hon’ble LG Ladakh lauded the contribution of Jigmet Takpa, as Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, and acknowledged his services in taking important measures and decisions for the smooth functioning of the department and steering the departmental activities to new heights.

 

Commissioner Secretary Ajeet Kumar Sahu said during Jigmet Takpa’s tenure as Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, he made every effort to provide and performed best of his capabilities in public service delivery in the forest, environmental and wildlife sector.

 

Commissioner Secretary Ajeet Kumar Sahu said after the formation of UT, Ladakh, the department received generous funding and under the guidance of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, the funding was given a meaningful direction in planning and development of forest, and wildlife.

 

While acknowledging the outstanding contribution of Jigmet Takpa, the Commissioner Secretaries, Administrative Secretaries, under-secretaries, and officials conveyed their best wishes to him.

Jigmet Takpa also spoke on the occasion and shared his experience in the department. He highlighted the importance of teamwork and the cooperative efforts of the Commissioner Secretaries, Administrative Secretaries, directors, and officials of the Civil Secretariat. He appreciated and highlighted the efforts of the staff of Forests, Wildlife for their relentless efforts and dedication towards the services.

Maralkar; Administrative Secretary Amit Sharma; Chief Wildlife Warden, Sajjad Hussain Mufti; under-secretaries; staff members, and other concerned officials attended the farewell.
