Imposes fine against violators for non-wearing of masks

KARGIL MAY 11, 2021: On the direction of the Sub Divisional Magistrate Sankoo Ghulam Mohiuddin Wani, Tehsildar Sankoo Asgar Ali today conducted an extensive market checking of Sankoo Town and adjoining areas.

The market checking was aimed to assess the implementation of guidelines and preventive measures related to COVID-19 during which the Tehsildar and other concerned officers imposed a fine of Rs 1500 against the violators who were found without wearing face masks.

Meanwhile, the Tehsildar instructed all the traders and shopkeepers not to allow any customer inside their shops while purchasing commodities. He also directed them to mark circles outside their shops to maintain proper social distancing.

Further, the Tehsildar also exhorted upon all traders to follow the necessary COVID-19 guidelines and SOPs issued by the District Administration from time to time.He also warned that violation of SOPs will attract penal action under relevant rules.
