As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 88 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 71 reports were reported in Leh and 17 in Kargil. While, a total of 3198 sample reports in UT Ladakh; Leh: 1822 and Kargil: 1376 were found negative yesterday.
With the death of one patient from Covid-19 reported in Kargil yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 190; 136 in Leh and 54 in Kargil.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 120 patients yesterday. Out of which 98 patients were discharged in Leh and 22 in Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 1581; 1368 in Leh and 213 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 685 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 66 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday and 162 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
