Indian Army hosts educational tour for school students to Leh
Kargil, May 03, 2024: Indian Army recently organized a four-day educational tour for 20 school students and two escort teachers of Govt. High School Kaksar to Leh, providing them with a unique opportunity to explore the rich cultural heritage and historical significance of the region.
During the tour, the students had the privilege to visit several iconic landmarks, including Leh Palace, Hall of Fame, Zoravar Singh Fort, and the bustling Leh Market. These visits allowed them to delve into the vibrant history and traditions of Leh, while also gaining a deeper understanding of the sacrifices made by the armed forces to safeguard the nation’s borders.
