13th BN NDRF in collaboration with DDMA Kargil conducts mock exercise at Chiktan

The 13th Battalion of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Ludhiana, Punjab, in collaboration with the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Kargil, conducted a comprehensive familiarization and mock exercise on earthquake and cloudburst scenarios at Higher Secondary School, Chiktan.

The exercise saw participation from students of various schools in the tehsil, volunteers, Apada Mitras and a large number of the general public. Additionally, an Aadhaar camp was set up to provide essential Aadhaar-related services to the community.

Sub-Divisional Magistrate Shakar Chiktan, Dr. Sanjat Bhardwaj, and Naib Tehsildar Shakar Chiktan were also present at the event. Dr. Bhardwaj reviewed the performance and expressed his appreciation, thanking all participants at the conclusion of the exercise.
