2-day training program for healthcare workers concludes in Kargil 

 

Kargil, June 25, 2024: The two-day training program for healthcare workers and ASHA workers organized by NGO ‘Every Infant Matters’ Sarita Vihar, New Delhi, funded by the Great Eastern Shipping CSR Foundation, concluded today at Auditorium Hall, Kargil.

 

Dr. Majeed, MD Community Medicine and specialist of hypertension and lifestyle diseases, along with Dr. Hillal, an expert in disaster management, presented practical measures for prevalent heart-related diseases in society.

 

They provided detailed data analysis, highlighting the causes and consequences of diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, strokes, and tuberculosis.

 

Both stressed preventive measures against tobacco and emphasized the importance of yoga and spirituality in maintaining proper health management.

 

The experts also emphasized the significance of raising awareness about daily consumption of salt, sugar, and oil in maintaining physical health.

 

They also covered essential measures such as CPR for heart patients during emergencies. Medical and ASHA workers from various blocks raised queries and concerns, which were addressed by the experts.
