20-day Capacity Building training for Headteachers of Govt Middle Schools commences at DIET Leh

Leh, Jan 05: A 20-day Capacity Building training for the Headteachers of Government Middle Schools of Leh district commenced at DIET Leh today in the presence of guest speaker Director LEDeG, Ishey Tundup.

Principal, DIET Leh, Tsetan Dorjey opined that the program would inculcate dynamism and efficacy in the smooth functioning of their respective schools.

A session on the Child Safety and Role of Schools/ POCSO Act was also organised to familiarize the teachers/head teachers with the basic modalities of the Child Safety and POCSO Act.

DEPO, Education Department Leh, Sonam Wangchuk, and Member Secretary, Juvenile Justice Board Leh, Abdul Rahim also shared their valuable insights on the topic.
