EC Agriculture visits Agri farm at Thiksey

Executive Councillor, Agriculture, LAHDC Leh, Stanzin Chosphel, today visited the agricultural farm Thiksay to take stock of the preparation of Floriculture Garden for the coming season.

EC Agriculture instructed the Chief Agriculture Officer to introduce more varieties of annual/bi-annual cut flowers. He discussed the prospects of introducing medicinal and aromatic plants, including Hing, Lavender, Roseberry, among others.

EC Agriculture also directed the concerned officials to prepare a detailed project report (DPR) on the construction of wall and fencing of departmental farm and to submit the same at the earliest.
