DC Kargil greets people on Eid ul Fitr

Deputy Commissioner/ District Magistrate and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve has extended his heartfelt greetings and good wishes to people of the district on the auspicious occasion of Eid ul Fitr.

In his message of felicitations, the Deputy Commissioner while wishing well being and prosperity to people said that the holy month of Ramadan underlines the importance of fasting, prayers, charity and service to the poor and needy.

DC Santosh Sukhadeve extended his heartiest greetings and warm wishes to the people and expressed hope that this Eid would usher in a new era of  prosperity, well being and harmony to the people of the district and the whole humanity and would bring happiness and Almighty’s endless blessings to all.

The Deputy Commissioner while expressing his prayers for a quick recovery from the current COVID-19 pandemic urged people to follow all necessary guidelines put in place by the Government and advised them to celebrate Eid and offer the Eid prayers at home while ensuring strict adherence to social distancing norms during the Eid festivities while ensuring their safety and the safety of their loved ones and every individual in the present situation of the COVID-19 pandemic.
