As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, one new positive sample report of Covid-19 was received yesterday and it was reported in Leh. While a total of 1457 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 648 and Kargil: 809 were found negative.

No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.

The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged nine patients yesterday and all were discharged from Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 55; 45 in Leh and 10 in Kargil district.

The bulletin further informs that 1853 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 41 and 225 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
