CEC Feroz Khan inaugurates smart classrooms at KV Kargil

 

KARGIL, SEPTEMBER 08, 2021: Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan inaugurated two smart class rooms at Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) Trespone here today.

 

Additional Deputy Commissioner Kargil Tsering Motup, Councillor Trespone Aga Syed Mujtaba Mosavi besides the staff of KV was present on the occasion.

The smart class rooms have been installed in class I and class XII. The CEC also went round the the school campus, classrooms and other sections of the KV.

 

The concerned officers on the occasion gave a demonstration of how the smart board works besides its other functionalities. They also demonstrated how the board could be used for teaching the topics of Physics, Chemistry and Biology and how even practical can be displayed.

CEC Feroz Khan assured to provide the KV Kargil with a basic life support ambulance, so that in case of medical emergency, staff members or students can be transported to District Hospital, Kargil.

The KV authorities requested CEC Kargil to provide 2 submersible pumps in the school campus so that drinking water would be made available during winters.

CEC Khan assured that he would direct the Executive Engineer PHE Kargil to provide two hand pumps to the KV at the earliest. He further said that he has also urged the LG Ladakh for establishment of hostel facility to students at KV Kargil who come from the far-flung areas.

Meanwhile, Councillor Trespone Aga Syed Mujtaba underlined the need to start Arts Stream in the KV and school bus service for the students who come here from far-off areas. He also assured to provide the Vidyalaya with one smart classroom during the current year.

Meanwhile, the KV authorities expressed gratitude to the CEC Kargil for shifting of Middle School Longma from the campus of KV Kargil. They further thanked the CEC for visiting the Vidyalaya and for his continuous support for its development.
