5-training program on DBT/EAT and EIS modules concludes in Kargil

KARGIL, JUNE 24, 2022:

A 5-day training program on DBT/EAT and EIS modules organized by the Directorate of Public Financial Management System (PFMS) Union Territory Ladakh in collaboration with District Administration Kargil today concluded at Auditorium Hall, Kargil.

Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve, Chief Controller Finance and District Treasury Officer Iftikhar Hussain, Trainers from Ministry of Finance and Expenditure Government of India, Directorate of PFMS UT Ladakh concerned, DDO’s, District Officers and other concerned officers were present during the event.

On the occasion, DC Santosh said equipping human resource with skilled training is mandate of the District Administration and the 3-day workshop will be beneficial to all participants and it must have cleared all doubts related to PFMS.

The Deputy Commissioner asserted that more such workshops and training programs will be held in future to train concerned officers related to different nuances of the current financial management system.

Chief Controller Finance Iftikhar Hussain expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Finance and Expenditure, Government of India and District Administration Kargil for successful conduct of the training program. He added that the District Administration is in process of organizing more such events on the Financial Management System.

On the occasion, Accounts Officer to Director PFMS UT Ladakh, Phunsok Angchuk also addressed the event.

Later, DC Kargil along with other dignitaries felicitated the trainers from the Ministry Finance and Expenditure for their efforts in training the participants about different modules of PFMS.

Accounts Officer to DC Kargil, Shamim Ahmed presented the vote of thanks while Murtaza Fazily conducted program proceedings of the concluding ceremony.

The PFMS is a web-based online software application developed and implemented by PFMS Division Ministry of Finance and Expenditure Government of India.
