As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 38 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 32 were reported in Leh and six in Kargil. While, a total of 2411 sample reports in UT Ladakh; Leh: 1759 and Kargil: 652 were found negative yesterday.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 88 patients yesterday. Out of which 72 patients were discharged in Leh and 16 in Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 746; 613 in Leh and 133 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 845 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 232 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday and 227 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
