9 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh

19 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Jul 06: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of nine new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, six were reported in Leh and three in Kargil. While, a total of 3656 sample reports in UT Ladakh; Leh: 1591 and Kargil: 2065 were found negative yesterday.

No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.

The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 19 patients yesterday. Out of which 14 patients were discharged in Leh and five in Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 216; 182 in Leh and 34 in Kargil district.

The bulletin further informs that 1844 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 162 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday and 955 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
