EC Tashi visits Shella, Sani, Stongday Gompa

Kargil, July 10, 2024: Executive Councilor ZDA, RDD, Cooperative and Information, LAHDC, Kargil, Er. Phunchok Tashi today visited Shella, Sani and Stongday Gompa to review the progress of ongoing developmental works executed by the government through various agencies.

At Shella, the EC inspected the PMGSY road, Motorable Bridge, reading room and beatification of waterfall. He directed the executing agencies to speedup the progress and ensure to complete the works in the targeted time.

At Sani, EC Tashi also inspected the works executed by ZDA and RDD, including JJM and beatification of holy Lake in Sani.

He directed the Engineers of ZDA, RDD, REW to speed up the progress, so that the public will get benefits of all the development works sanctioned by Government to provide basic facilities for the general public at their door steps. He also interacted with the villagers at Shella and Sani.

Post lunch, the EC visited Stongday Gonpa and interacted with monks. He intimated that project worth 1 Crore sanctioned for upgradation and beautification in Stongday Monastery.
