Sankoo, Kargil | 27 October 2026: The Special Police Anti-Corruption Bureau (SP ACB), Ladakh, organised a village awareness programme at Government Degree College (GDC), Sankoo, today under the theme “Probity for Prosperity.”
The programme aimed to sensitise students and faculty members about the importance of integrity, honesty, transparency, and accountability in public life. Mr. Manzoor Ahmad Sahab, representing SP ACB Ladakh, delivered an informative awareness lecture, highlighting the harmful effects of corruption and emphasising the role of students and citizens in promoting ethical values and building a corruption-free society.
The programme witnessed the participation of students and faculty members of GDC Sankoo, who were encouraged to uphold honesty, integrity, and moral responsibility in their personal and professional lives.
Dr. Bilques Fatima conducted the proceedings as the anchor and presented the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to Mr. Manzoor Ahmad Sahab for his valuable insights and to all faculty members and students for their active participation in making the programme meaningful and successful.
The programme concluded with a renewed commitment to promote integrity, transparency, and accountability in society, reinforcing the message that probity and ethical conduct are essential foundations for prosperity and sustainable development.
