Kargil, October 27, 2026: Government ITI Kargil organised a one-day awareness programme on PMEGP and self-employment opportunities in collaboration with ETRDI and KVIC, Ministry of MSME, Government of India.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Asgar Hydari (Faculty, Horticulture), who thanked the resource persons and encouraged trainees to embrace entrepreneurship to achieve self-reliance.
Mr. Balwinder Singh highlighted career choices and entrepreneurship beyond government jobs, while Mr. Narinder Singh explained PMEGP financial assistance and subsidies. Mr. Tsering Morup provided practical guidance on accessing bank finance for viable business ventures.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Shakeel Ahmad, appreciating the contributions of resource persons, organisers, and participants.
