Chief Justice Pankaj Mittal launches website of Ladakh Legal Services Authority

 

Leh, Sept 01: Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir High Court, Justice Pankaj Mithal, who is also the patron chief of Ladakh Legal Service Authority, launched the UT Ladakh Legal Services Authority (LLSA) website in a virtual event held at the Srinagar wing of High Court.

 

Member Secretary, Ladakh Legal Services Authority, MK Sharma, welcomed the dignitaries and gave an overview of the website.

 

The website is launched to provide an easy way to the public and litigants to learn the aims and objectives of the Legal Services Authorities Act (LSAA) and entitled beneficiaries under the Act besides allowing the visitors to browse information based on their choice.

 

The website aims to provide better access to the LLSA and its activities, notices, orders, Lok Adalat, panel lawyers, Legal Aid Clinics, Legal Literacy Clubs, Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs).

 

Information, articles, newsletters, official announcements and achievements would be updated regularly on the website.
