Ladakh Education Fair concludes at GDC Kargil
Kargil, August 20, 2022:
Executive Councillor for Health, LAHDC, Kargil Mohsin Ali and Joint Director, Department of Information and Public Relations Ladakh, Imteeaz Kacho today attended the concluding ceremony of the 2-day Ladakh Education Fair 2022 at GDC Kargil.
On the occasion, the dignitaries inspected the stalls displaying awareness on scholarship schemes, career guidance, skill development, apprentice programs, ethnic food stalls etc.
On the occasion, EC Mohsin appreciated GDC Kargil for successfully conducting the event that gave fruitful results in terms of awareness, exposure and skills among the youth.
Joint Director, DIPR also hailed faculty members and students of the college for successfully organizing the Education Fair.
He also discussed the issues and concerns of the college that include infrastructure, staff quarters and teaching faculty. He maintained that the district needs quality colleges instead of more colleges.
Dr Javed Naqi presented welcome speech and appraised the dignitaries regarding aims, objectives and different components of the event.
A newsletter of the 2-day event was also released by the guests.
Pertinently, Ladakh Education Fair was organized by the University of Ladakh in collaboration with Ladakh Skill Development Mission and Higher Education Department, Ladakh at five different locations across Ladakh including EJM College Leh, GDC Kargil, GDC Drass, GDC Nubra and GDC Zanskar.
