CEC, Leh chairs meeting regarding Shatsey-Takna bridge
Leh, Aug 20: The Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson chaired a meeting at the Council Secretariat, today, to review and discuss the prevailing issue of Statsey – Takna bridge of Nubra valley with concerned executing agencies.
During the meeting, he directed the Chief Engineer PWD to form a high-level expert committee and asked them to submit the inquiry report at the earliest.
Also, CEC Gyalson directed the officials to come out with a constructive road map to sort out the issue and provide relief to the people.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman, Tsering Angchuk; Executive Councillor, Ghulam Mehdi; Deputy Commissioner, Leh, Shrikant Suse; Chief Engineer, PWD, P.C. Tanoch; Councillor Tiger, Rigzen Lundup; Councillor Panamik, Tsering Sangdup and XEN,SSD, Nubra Dorjey Gyatso.
