ADC Kargil chairs meeting to review arrangements for Holy Ramazan

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kargil, Ghulam Mohiuddin Wani today chaired a meeting with heads of religious organizations and concerned district officers to review arrangements for the Holy month of Ramazan 2022. 
Chief Medical Officer, Dr Munawar Hussain Wazir, Tehsildar Kargil Kacho Asgar Ali Khan, Executive Engineer PHE Er. Mohd Hassan, Dy SP DAR Chimba Samstan, officials of FCS&CA, Cooperatives, PDD, Municipal Committee besides representatives of religious organizations attended the meeting.
The ADC instructed the officials to ensure various necessary arrangements including market checking, uninterrupted power supply, especially at congregation sites, water supply, maintenance of cleanliness and hygiene, arrangements of first aid and medical support, food and supplies at nominal price etc.
The religious organizations and public representatives demanded to allow heavy motor vehicles on the Srinagar-Kargil road so that commodities can be made available. The ADC assured them to take up the issue with concerned higher authorities.
