ADC Kargil visits Lungnak block Zanskar




KARGIL, MAY 27, 2022: Additional Deputy Commissioner Kargil, Ghulam Mohi-Ud-Din Wani on Thursday visited Kargyak village of Lungnak Block Zanskar to redress the issues and to review the ongoing developmental works of the valley.

During the tour, he was accompanied by SDM Zanskar, Sonam Dorjay, Exen PWD, Naib Tehsildar, CDPO Zanskar, LDO Zanskar, AEE PWD, JEs of PWD and RDD.


The ADC was welcomed by the villagers of Kargyak and raised their issues like shortage of teachers, irrigation water, medical staff and opening of LPG Gas sale centre at Kargyak. The ADC assured them that their all issues will be solved at the earliest.


En route to Padum, the ADC also reviewed the progress of ongoing developmental works of Lungnak block. Public delegations of Purney, Cha, Raru and Muney Thang met with ADC and raised their issues.


ADC Kargil assured the delegations that the issues will be solved at the earliest and he also directed the concerned authorities to provide water lifting pump for irrigation purpose.
