ADDC Leh reviews progress of MGNREGA of Leh District

The Additional District Development Commissioner, Leh, Sonam Nurboo reviewed the progress of MGNREGA on December 3, at Conference Hall, DC Office Leh. The meeting focused on the progress of all parameters of MGNREGA in all the blocks of Leh District.
During the meeting, a detailed presentation was made indicating the parameters including status of Mandays achieved, blocks which has generated less than 60% Mandays, status of works shared to SECURE/BHUVAN for financial year 2024-25, rejected wage transaction reconciliation for financial year 2024-25, status of Aadhar seeding, percentage of works completed since inception in MIS, status of monthly payment and monitoring system.
The ADDC Leh reviewed the progress of each block with their respective Block Development Officers and VLWs. He directed the officers and officials to expediate the works to achieve the targets. He also advised the officers/officials to work in coordination with each other to work on pending parameters and achieve the maximum target and complete 100% at the earliest. He also set deadlines with a time of 15 days to complete the pending parameters of MGNREGA.
Additionally, ADDC Leh directed the BDOs and VLWs to create awareness program through Garam Sabha. He also instructed them to make a Plan Bank to complete all the works on time and achieve 100% target.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Director Planning, Rural Development Department, Leh; BDOs of various blocks and VLWs of various villages. Officers stationed outside Leh joined the meeting through video conference.
